Who could have imagined that what started a decade ago – a handful of gamers huddled over PCs at cybercafes in Chow Kit or Wangsa Maju, competing for prize pools of barely RM 500 – would grow into a billion-ringgit industry in Malaysia. Esports is no longer just a hobby for kids. It's a legitimate sport, complete with professional players, daily training regimens, major corporate sponsors, and tens of thousands of fans watching every match live or on streaming platforms.
Syukur 99 recognised this growth earlier than most other betting platforms. That's why we built a truly comprehensive esports section – not just adding a title or two as an afterthought. We support over 15 major esports titles with deep markets, real-time odds updates, and a user-friendly interface that works seamlessly on both laptops and mobile phones.
Our primary focus is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang – the most popular game in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia. MPL Malaysia is one of the most-followed e-sports leagues in the region, and syukur 99 offers the most comprehensive MPL match markets you'll find in Malaysia, including live markets while matches are in progress.
From MOBA to FPS – all covered with the widest betting markets available
Mobile Legends Professional League Malaysia, or MPL MY, is currently Malaysia's most prestigious e-sports league. Each season, eight of the country's top teams compete for the championship title, prize money, and a spot representing Malaysia at the M-Series – the Mobile Legends World Championship watched by millions across Asia.
Teams like RSG MY, Geek Fam Malaysia, Team HAQ, AURA MY and others have built a loyal fanbase across Malaysia. Every MPL match is more than just a bet on who wins – it's a celebration of Malaysia's gaming community, united by passion and support for their favourite teams.
At syukur 99, we cover every MPL MY match with a full range of markets. You can bet on the overall match winner, the winner of each individual game, total games in a series, which team draws first blood, and a variety of prop markets that let you put your in-depth knowledge of MPL Malaysia's teams and players to good use.

Many people still think esports is only for the young or university crowd. But the reality is, Malaysia's esports community has grown well beyond that. Malaysian esports fans span ages 18 to 40-something — office professionals who clock out during the day and settle in front of a screen after work to catch MPL or TI. These are people who take esports seriously, and syukur 99 is serious about serving them right.
One of the biggest complaints from e-sports fans who've tried other betting platforms is the lack of market depth. Most platforms only offer a match winner market – nothing more. syukur 99 goes much deeper. For DOTA 2 matches, for example, you can bet on who secures the first Roshan, total kills within the first 10 minutes, which team destroys the first Barracks, and more. It's a genuinely rewarding betting experience for those who truly understand the game.
On odds value, syukur 99 consistently strives to offer competitive e-sports odds. Our team of analysts who follow both the local and international e-sports scene ensures our odds reflect true probabilities rather than being set arbitrarily. The overall payout rate for e-sports at syukur 99 is 97% – among the best you'll find anywhere.
Syukur 99 also understands that esports fans are heavy mobile users. Our esports interface is designed specifically for mobile screens – all markets, odds, and live betting features are fully accessible even on a small display. You can watch an MPL match on one app and pull up Syukur 99 in another tab to place a live bet within seconds. No need to sit in front of a computer – it's all right in your pocket.
For players looking to get into esports betting but holding back due to limited experience – syukur 99 has a Betting Tips page updated regularly with esports match analysis, team statistics, head-to-head records, and market guides written in plain, easy-to-understand language. You don't need to be an esports expert to get started – just know the basics and never bet beyond your means.
A quick guide from syukur 99 for new and experienced players
Watch matches live or via VOD regularly. Analysing a team you've seen play live gives you a much sharper edge than relying on statistics alone.
E-sports is known for frequent roster changes. A team that has just reshuffled its lineup may still be in an adjustment phase – this can significantly affect their performance.
In MLBB, DOTA 2, and LoL, the latest patch can completely shift the game meta. Teams that adapt quickly to a new meta are more likely to perform well in the short term.
Some teams have a consistent record against specific opponents. Head-to-head records can offer useful insight, especially for matchups that frequently meet in MPL or other major leagues.
If you're just starting out, focus on Match Winner or O/U maps markets first. Don't jump into complex prop markets before you fully understand how they work.
E-sports has plenty of matches every day. Don't be tempted to bet on all of them. Stick to the ones you genuinely know and set a daily budget you're comfortable losing.
